A new day, a time of peace finally.
Monday I had an Adenosine stress test, this one I think didn't go well. I experienced numbness and tingling in left hand, just like with the first heart attack.
Tuesday morning saw me sitting on a bed, bent over a pillow while a Nurse Anethetist gave me an epidural, a shot of cortisone into my back. I feel about 80 % better today and the new medicine for my RA is working miracles.
This drug is called Lefluromide, I think that spelling is right.
It's a potent drug, stays in the body for two years after just one month's supply!!
Shopping for groceries today was an experiment in trying new things, I got some Kale, some Bib lettuce, and on a whim I purchased some chicken breast because with this dreary, gray day I find myself craving chicken soup.
My son has been seeing a dentist, getting that finally taken care of! First time since he graduated from school. 12 years! His new car is awesome, well it's a newer car anyway. It's comfortable, dependable, and pretty. MY words for it. He's been trying his hand at cooking stuff besides his frozen pizzas and hotdogs too! He's made a roast with vegetables in his crockpot, made hotdishes, and a few other items. Yay!!!
My kitty is doing so good, she's learned to make a sound that sounds like "hello" and has caught on to sneezing too! She'll turn into a dog yet!
She was so cute today, rolling around on the floor and tossing her catnip mouse up into the air for the benefit of my company...hehe, quite an attention gurl she is!
The last couple of days has seen a change in the temps here, it's sooooooooooo good to have the temps in the 40's! Soon the geese will return, and then the other birds. I can't wait to get out with my camera and get some great pictures. Last night I wished I'd had my camera ready, two choppers flew next to the apt. and were going quite slow. That would have made for an interesting video, what with the tv show that was on in the background!
Well, enough rambling....I guess this is the first I"ve felt good since being sick this winter, and I"m chomping at the bit to talk, discuss, and visit.
